this sport (game) is the worst. typical months of 4 fight build up of the first espn pay per view. so what happens? lightweight championship featuring ebo elder/juan diaz is off a lousy one sided six rounder is on.

its like expecting patriots colts and end up with utah st montana.

hey alot of people are dissapointed, but its not the first time something like this has happend, and it wont be the last. This sport is unpredictable. Comes with the territory. Reason I love it so much is u realy never know whats gonna happen.

i enjoy a good pay per view so it pisses me off when the paying fans lose out. would like to see espn put one more competitive fight instead of a showcase. just one less bout to bet and watch. whole point of this card was four quality fights where either guy had a shot for 29.95 now it is no longet like that.

This is really unfortunate. I was really looking forward to that bout. This is how I ranked the bouts for that card in terms of excitement. Margarito/Cintron (most exciting), McCline/Brock, Diaz/Elder and then last but not least Mosley/Estrada (4th most exciting).

They should drop the price to $24.95 now.

i don't mind paying to get what i want. rather pay the 29.95 for the extra bout than pay less for less. now i pay full price for less.

i had 3 parlays riding with diaz as the kicker...the last domino.....f-ck!!

i fully expected elder`s face to blow up like kirstie alley at the krispy kreme stand.....4 months, imo, wasn`t nearly enough time for the beating he took from courtney burton to resolve itself....

i think elder`s father is a sadist...

i`m no diaz believer, but, elder was up against it here...

now, elder will get a decent amount of time to totally recoup from the burton beating....which,btw,was as brutal a beating as i`ve ever seen in a fight....win or lose....the guy looked like a gargoyle...he was half dead...out on his feet more than once.....actually,it may be that he`ll never be completely the same...it was that brutal...

when his father sent him out for the last round,i was shocked....i was even more shocked that he won....he could have died in that ring...

margarito/cintron is a very interesting fight....mosely/estrada is interesting because i want to see how shane handles the weight....estrada is a fairly tough nut...limited....but,mosely isn`t the same guy he used to be....

should be interesting...

i agree that the elder/diaz postponement tarnishes this card....alot...

if you are paying for this,i think a slight reduction in price would be fair....

Spinchter, I agree with you, but Elder is a tough SOB, and Diaz isnt the heaviest puncher out there. He has high volume, and im sure Elders face would be swollen, like the old Gatti. Those damn High cheek bones man. I tend to disagree with people who think Mosley isnt the same fighter. Yes he is a bit older than he was in 2000-2001 when he was at his peak, but I really dont think he has fallen off that much. If he cant beat him convicingly, then he is prob done. I think he actually looked very good against Wright, but he lost to Wright, and guy That has a godo shot to beat Trinidad too. He has only lost to Top PFP opposition, and much bigger men also. Estrada's come forward style should be custom made for Shanes crisp, fast, heavy combos
